Saturday, May 7, 2016, Howard College Big Spring hosted a dedication ceremony. The dedication ceremony came after needed improvements had been made at the ballpark and clubhouse thanks to the generosity of the Big Spring Alon Refinery and Don and Verna Finkenbinder.

            “Our donors have made these needed improvements possible and we are so grateful for their ongoing support of our baseball program,” said Dr. Cheryl T. Sparks, President. “We are honored to not only recognize the Big Spring Alon Refinery for their strong community presence but also to recognize Coach Britt Smith for his years with Howard College and his commitment to our student athletes and the baseball program.”
